Wizards Storage Portal V 3.55

To all Wizards Storage Portal users

Wizards Storage Portal was upgraded on February 26th. The upgrade to 3.55 contains several updates for the recently released Storage Master Dashboard widget, new Capacity history page for single Volumes as well as enhancements to the Active Alerts section.

What the upgrade contains:

Active Alerts

The active alerts page has been enhanced with extensive filtering possiblities which makes it easy, in case of huge installations, to find what you are looking for by either plugin, alert severity or alert status, or all three combined.

This added filtering opens up for other new possibilities.

Storage Master Dashboard Widget - updates
The Alerts overview section in the recently Storage Master Dashboard widget has been enhanced with links that go directly to the active alerts page above, with pre-defined filtering.

This means that clicking the 2 warnings in the screenshot below leads you to the active alerts page, pre-filtered to show only warnings and only for the Wizards for Virtual Storage plugin.

Another enhancement is in the Pool Capacity and Volume Capacity sections, which have been synchronized to show capacities on a unified scale.

New page: Volume capacity history
A new page tab has been added to the Volume Details page, showing capacity history for a single volume. The page has enhanced filtering including: time interval, capacity type (used, real etc) and a set of different chart types for visualization.

General updates

  • Old Flash-based microcharts have been removed from all datagrid pages in the Wizards for Virtual Storage plugin, resulting in immense performance enhancements.
  • Bug fixed when trying to download Zip-file on the Alerts & Reports -> Message Archive page.

Whats next?
With the next version of WSP 3.56, we are releasing a brand new page showing uptime and outages for your Spectrum Protect (TSM) servers. Stay tuned...

Sincere regards
The Development Team
